Ssamzigil

Ssamzigil was newly created in 2004 based on Insadong’s distinctive character, long known as one of Seoul’s representative traditional streets. Ssamzigil is a shopping mall with traditional and modern crafts, and a complex cultural space built around Ssamzigil’s own theme. If you enter Ssamzigil and walk along the path from Aetgil Madang to Haneulgil Madang, it is fun to look around the small workshops and shops on each floor. There is also a workshop of a master craftsman selected as an Intangible Cultural Property of Seoul, as well as workshops selling a variety of cute and charming items.
