Hicos NDC Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprate / 네오펜틸글라이콜다이카프레이트 NDC is a cosmetic base oil material which has rich and soft texture makes the skin be shiny by forming a protective film on the skin and suitable for applying to cream for dry skin with rich feeling. Ⅰ. Introduction Hicos NDC is synthetic ester of neopentyl glycol and capric acid. Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprate is a light yellowish, oily liquid that is used in the formulation of a wide variety of cosmetic & personal care products. What are emollients? Emollients, or moisturizers help keep the skin dry by reducing water loss from the epidermis - the outer layer of skin. Emollients keep the skin moist and supple by providing a protective film. Ⅱ. Typical Characteristics Hicos NDC is a low-viscosity oil that feels light on the skin. It spreads well on the skin and adheres well to it. It is very compatible with various oils, including silicone Ⅴ. Application Hicos NDC is a light yellow liquid with a slight, characteristic odor. This product is soluble in oil, alcohol and most hydrophobic solvents such as esters, mineral oil, mineral spirits and aromatic hydrocarbons. It is insoluble in water. It has a medium skin feel, low freeze point, solvent properties, reduces greasiness, and is suitable for use in skin care, color cosmetics, hair care, and bath products. Ⅵ.
