Biochemica® Palm Butter Refined Organic is an ultra-refined, certified organic naturally occurring butter developed exclusively for cosmetic use. Palm butter is the natural (non-hydrogenated) stearin fraction of palm fat. It is a solid butter at room temperature and has great antioxidant power. Along with a high content of inherent tocopherols, there is a large amount of tocotrienols found in palm butter. Tocotrienols are more potent therapeutically than tocopherols, with antioxidant properties up to 50 times more potent in membrane systems. Biochemica® Palm Butter Refined Organic may be used in formulas to aid in free radical scavenging, cell regeneration, and to assist in moisturization after exposure to sun and other harsh elements. It is completely oil miscible and contains no preservatives or coloring agents. Completely natural and USDA-NOP Certified Organic! Suggested applications for Biochemica® Palm Butter Refined Organic include creams, lotions, bar soaps and body and lip balms. The recommended use level is application dependent and between 3% and 100%. For balms: 5-100%; lotions & creams: 3-10%; bar soaps: 3-6%; and hair conditioners: 2-5%.
