CARBOPOL® 1382 polymer is a powder rheology modifier polymerized in a toxicologically-preferred cosolvent system specifically designed for thickening surfactant systems. It is an effective suspending and stabilizing agent for use in specialty formulations, where dandruff actives must be permanently suspended and immiscible conditioning agents must be effectively stabilized. It is also an excellent thickener and light gellant for systems containing electrolytes, anionic and amphoteric surfactants, and ethyl or isopropyl alcohols. CARBOPOL® 1382 polymer provides excellent clarity in hydroalcoholic gels and high compatibility with anionic surfactants imparting thickening and yield value.
