It has a particularly high level of palmitoleic acid, which shows similarities to skin lipids (sebum). Known for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and collagen stimulating properties, Palmitoleic acid possesses an impressive range of beneficial cosmetic effects. Due to its composition and skin feel, MACADAMIA NUT OIL CP RBD is considered a vegan replacement for emu oil in personal care products.
