SeraSense SF Medium Viscosity Fluids are available at 200, 350, 500, 1000, 3000 and 5000cS viscosities. In cosmetics applications, the low-medium viscosity of these fluids makes these ingredients good spreading agents, whilst offering higher substantivity than those of a lower viscosity. Low-medium viscosity dimethicone can also eliminate the whitening or `soaping' effect seen in W/O emulsions. In hair care, these materials can be used in serums or conditioners to give hair a smooth feel and good dry combing.
