A liquid alkylated silicone wax. The cetyl modification makes this type of silicone more compatible with organic ingredients. Ideal for use in sun care products due to it gives SPF boosting effect. KCC Beauty SeraSoft SW 74 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with long alkyl chains. Due to its chemical structure, it shows good compatibility with most organic cosmetic ingredients, such as hydrocarbon oils, vegetable oils, waxes, and organic UV ingredients. SeraSoft SW 74 can help enhance SPF values of organic and inorganic UV ingredients in water-in-oil formulations.
