MERQUAT 295 is a highly charged, aqueous, cationic copolymer that demonstrates ampholytic characteristics and contains no preservatives. It has excellent stability in extreme pH applications making it ideally suited for use in high pH products. MERQUAT 295 provides stable, rich and dense foam and superior conditioning properties in high pH systems. It is especially designed for relaxer and hair color systems. MERQUAT 295 improves the wet combability of hair dyes and provides a smooth, soft feel to hair. It also provides stable, rich and dense foam. MERQUAT 295 is recommended for ethnic hair care, hair color, and depilatories. Merquat™ 295 polymer (personal care grade) is a highly charged, aqueous, cationic copolymer that demonstrates ampholytic characteristics and contains no preservatives. The polymer has excellent stability in extreme pH applications making it ideally suited for use in high pH products.
