원료 설명
SolaFresh™ is a multifunctional emollient with excellent solvency, skin emollience, high polarity and triplet quenching properties for photostabilization. It is a diester of 2,6-Naphthaleneddicarboxylic acid and 2-Ethylhexanol, and free from phthalate. It is also an efficient photostabilizer for avobenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) by mechanism of triplet-triplet energy transfer. Through photostabilization, SolaFresh™ has been proven to enhance SPF and broaden UV absorbance spectrum with increased PFA. It is an important ingredient to be used alone or with other Hallstar photostabilizers to achieve desirable SPF in 3-O-Free formulations in compliance with Hawaii and U.S. Virgin Islands bans. SolaFresh™ also has numerous user-friendly physical properties including low viscosity, odorless, good solvency for solid UV filters and high compatibility with commonly used emollients.
