Kelco-Care diutan gum is a highly efficient rheology modifier produced by fermentation. As a water-soluble biopolymer, Kelco-Care diutan gum provides the highest level of formulation stability. It has exceptionally good thermal stability and is compatible with high levels of alcohol and polyols. Kelco-Care diutan gum can impart benefits like fiber protection, split ends repair, and a silky, conditioned feel. As a nature-derived ingredient, it is readily biodegradable and non-toxic. Kelco-Care diutan gum is suitable for applications that require shear-thinning rheology and the ability to provide long-term viscosity and stability over a broad temperature range. Its light skin feel and 'no-drip' properties also make it suitable for leave-on formulations.
