Glabridin can remove superoxide ions and inhibit hemolysis caused by hydro gen peroxide. It can inhibit tyrosinase activity, dopa pigment tautomerism and DHICA oxidase activity. It is a fast, efficient and green cosmetic active ingredient for whitening and anti-spot. It has the SOD-like ability to scavenge oxygen free radicals and the Vitamin E-like ability to resist oxygen free radicals.
