NEOFECT PEN LO is a pure, low odour version of Pentylene Glycol and is a desired ingredient. It is a skin care ingredient and, due to the antimicrobial properties, it can be used in the self-preservation of products. NEOFECT PEN LO is soluble in water, which makes it easy to incorporate in products. Suitable use concentrations are ca. 1 - 5 %. In some cases it is suitable on its own for self-preservation, in other cases some additional fungicidal efficacy is required. NEOFECT PEN LO is halal certified, and suitable for vegans.
