Powdered rheology additive based on organophilic phyllosilicates for low- to medium-polar oil- and solvent-based personal care applications. [Product family] GARAMITE rheology additives are organophilic phyllosicates based on the Mixed Mineral Technology (MMT) for solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. They have an exceptionally high bulk density (i.e. lower volume), exhibit a very unique rheology profile, are easy to handle and incorporate, and give outstanding sag resistance and anti-settling properties. GARAMITE additives can be used in the most varied of solvent-borne and solvent-free systems such as coatings, plastics, adhesives and sealants, and household and institutional cleaners. GARAMITE-7308 XR is a powdered rheology additive for low- to medium-polar organic liquids, such as Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquidum, Isododecane, or Castor Oil. Thanks to the multiple particle morphologies combined in this additive, it can be easily dispersed in oil- or solvent-based formulations at moderate shear. It does not require an activator to achieve its effectiveness and has a unique rheology profile. The very high viscosity in the low shear range results in excellent anti-settling and anti-syneresis properties. When shear forces are applied, the viscosity is significantly reduced. Use of the additive also leads to very good application properties and creates a pleasant skin feel. 적용: Antiperspirants/deos (especially recommended), Liquid makeup (especially recommended), Lipsticks (especially recommended), Eye shadows (especially recommended), Hair care products (especially recommended), Hair styling products (especially recommended), Creams and lotions (especially recommended) [Incorporation] The additive should be dispersed at moderate shear for about 10 minutes and can be added at any time during manufacture. [Note] Very high shear forces should be avoided when preparing formulations containing GARAMITE-7308 XR.
