ganex™ (antaron™) polymers alkylated polyvinylpyrrolidone Ganex™ polymers are linear alkylated polyvinylpyrrolidones. They are surface active and exhibit different hydrophobic/hydrophilic balances, depending on the molecular weight of the alkyl group and its ratio to vinylpyrrolidone. They are relatively low molecular-weight, film-forming polymers. Ganex™ P-904LC polymer is water soluble while the other more hydrophobic Ganex™ polymers are soluble in organic solvents, including mineral oil, kerosene and toluene.
