Kolmar Korea retakes the market-cap lead over Cosmax after 560 days
The ODM ranking flipped again on the stock market. As of May 20, Kolmar Korea was worth ₩2.1669 trillionandCosmax ₩2.0089 trillion, ending Cosmax's lead that had run since Oct. 30, 2024, 560 days in all.
Numbers behind it (Q1)
- Kolmar Korea: revenue ₩782B (+11.5%), operating profit ₩78.9B (+31.6%)
- Cosmax: revenue ₩682B, operating profit ₩53B (+3.3%)
In April Kolmar Korea was also designated by the Korea Fair Trade Commission as a large business group with over ₩5 trillion in assets. Several brokers raised their price targets.
The article framed it as leadership shifting from legacy brand houses to companies that can produce fast and respond globally.
