It’s really difficult to go back once you’ve finished the packaging and find out there’s already a trademark with the same name. As soon as you have name candidates, start with a trademark search.

Trademark check order

Check for similar trademarks in the Korean Intellectual Property Office trademark search (KIPRIS)
Check the product class for cosmetics (primarily Class 3)
Search trademarks in countries you plan to enter in advance
Secure the domain and social media account names
Consult a patent attorney if needed
