The checklist I’d put near the top: treat the GCC as several market entries, not one launch. Requirements and processes can differ by country, so map product registration, the local importer’s role, Arabic labeling, claims review, and required documents market by market. Confirm the latest details with the relevant authority or an experienced local regulatory partner before shipping; “GCC-ready” on a distributor deck isn’t the same as cleared for sale everywhere.

Then pressure-test the product and positioning. Heat during storage and delivery, strong sun exposure, and preference differences can affect which textures and routines resonate—but don’t assume every customer wants a lighter gel or that “halal” is automatically a purchase driver. Only make halal or sensitive-skin claims you can substantiate.

Finally, model landed cost, channel margins, sampling, and replenishment—not just the wholesale price. A small launch through a credible local retailer or e-commerce partner can reveal which SKUs and claims actually travel before a broad rollout. The poll’s “researching” option may be the most useful stage to compare notes: what’s been the biggest surprise so far, regulation, distribution, or consumer fit?
