이 원료는 단백질인 Type I Cuticular Ha4 Keratin의 일부와 동일하도록 합성하여 얻은 단일사슬휴먼펩타이드의 말레익애씨드염으로, 알지닌, 글루타믹애씨드, 글루타민, 글라이신, 류신 및 라이신으로 이루어진 10개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있으며, C-말단은 아마이드이다. 모단백질은 글라이코실화 및/또는 다이설파이드결합을 포함할 수 있는 최대 436개의 표준 아미노산으로 구성되어 있다.

sh-Decapeptide-25 SP Amide Maleate is the maleic acid salt of a single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Type I Cuticular Ha4 Keratin, and contains 10 amino acids consisting of arginine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, leucine and lysine in which the C-terminus is an amide. The parent protein contains a maximum of 436 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation, and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
