Biochemica® Shea Butter Organic has been produced from shea ( Butyrospermum parkii ) seeds which have been grown and manufactured organically and has been certified as such. The product is certified organic in compliance with the National Organic Program (NOP) as recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service. Biochemica® Shea Butter Organic has been gently processed and refined using low temperature evaporation and organic clay filtration to deodorize and decolorize the butter without affecting its activity or function. It may be used to protect the skin against weather, sun, and superficial irritations, assisting with the resolution of cutaneous dryness.
