Its spreadability, lubricity, high refractive index (gloss), and broad compatibility made it a versatile ingredient for a wide range of cosmetics formulations, such as, hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, sun care and deodorants. Examples of applications ▶ Hair styling: recommended use levels 0.5 - 10%. ▶ Skin care - moisturizers, anti-aging, and facial serums: recommended use levels 0.5 -10%. ▶ Shaving products: recommended use levels 1 - 3%. ▶ Antiperspirants and deodorants: recommended use levels 5 - 10%. ▶ Makeup - foundations, concealers, and lipsticks: recommended use levels 5 - 10%.
