Cosroma® CST is 98% cysteine derived from non-animal source, it can reduce the -SS- bond in biological enzymes to -SH group, sulfhydryl (SH) is the main active point in the enzyme which has the effect of reducing ability and chemical reaction activity, it can achieve whitening effection by regulating the formation of melanin. Adding a small amount of Cosroma® CST can effectively improve the activity of tyrosinase. Cosroma® CST is more milder than mercaptoacetic acid, it has a nutritional care effect on hair, but the disadvantage is that it is easily oxidized.
