The most useful question is: Who will assess me, and who will perform the procedure? Ask whether you’ll have time to speak directly with a licensed dermatologist, whether the person doing the treatment is the doctor, and if the plan can change after the in-person assessment.
Before paying a deposit, get clear answers on:
The full price, consultation fee, and what’s included (tax, numbing, aftercare, follow-up).
The exact procedure/device being proposed, realistic expectations, and common side effects or downtime.
What to avoid before and after, and who to contact if you have a concern once you’ve left Korea.
Whether an interpreter is available and whether you can take the consent form and aftercare instructions in English.
With only a few days in Seoul, don’t schedule a new-to-you procedure right before a flight or a big event; swelling, redness, or bruising can be hard to predict. Be wary of pressure to add treatments on the spot.
