Good list to keep on your phone. I’d add these five questions before paying for a reservation or package:

1. Who will do the assessment and procedure? Ask about the qualifications and experience of the person who will perform it, not just the sales representative.
2. What device or product will they use, and why is it suitable for my case? For laser treatments, ask for the name of the device and what to expect for your skin tone.
3. How much does it cost in total? Confirm taxes, consultation, anesthesia, aftercare, and whether the price depends on buying multiple sessions.
4. What recovery time and aftercare does it require? Ask about redness, sun exposure, makeup, and whether you’ll be able to travel or sightsee afterward.
5. What happens if I have a reaction or need follow-up care once I’m outside Korea? Clarify how to contact the clinic and what documentation they’ll provide.

If you have a skin condition, take medication, or have had significant reactions, it’s a good idea to consult a dermatologist before booking a procedure. And be wary of pressure to decide on the spot: it’s completely reasonable to ask for time to think about it.
