Early flight home from Incheon: move hotels the last night, or not?
A question that pops up again and again: your flight leaves early in the morning, and your hotel is in the middle of Seoul. Do you switch hotels for the final night?
The options people usually weigh
- Stay put and leave very early. No packing twice, but check what time the first airport train or bus actually runs from your area. It may be later than you need.
- Move near Seoul Station or another airport rail stop for the last night. Shorter morning, and some travellers like being close to the station with heavy shopping bags.
- Sleep near the airport. The calmest morning, but you lose your last evening in the city.
- Book a taxi in advance. Simple, especially for groups sharing the fare.
Things travellers say they wish they had checked: whether you need time for an airport tax refund, how much luggage you will have after shopping, and whether the hotel lets you check out before the front desk opens.
