Olive Young Awards 2025: the makeup winners in one list

Olive Young's year-end awards are one of the most watched "what is Korea actually buying" signals. A recap of the 2025 edition lists winners across skincare, makeup and a few extra sections.

On the makeup side, the recap highlights:

• Cushion: Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nuder Cushion
• Powder: Banila Co. Prime Primer Finish Powder

Makeup was split into three categories (eyes & brows, lips, face), next to eight skincare categories plus health, premium and honorable mentions.

Why it matters: none of these are new launches. They are long-running staples, which says a lot about how Korean shoppers buy makeup: they repurchase what works rather than chase every drop.

Keep in mind that a ranking reflects popularity, not how a product will suit your skin tone or skin type. Shade range and finish still matter more than a trophy.
