Which beauty trend should we retire before 2027?

Time for a friendly vote. Some trends from the last couple of years were fun, some were useful, and some we are ready to see leave the feed.

The candidates people complain about most on beauty forums:

• Shelfie flexing: filming a wall of products nobody could finish before they expire
• Extreme routines: 10+ steps, often mixing strong actives
• Sunscreen contouring and 'tan-first' trends: leaving parts of the face unprotected on purpose
• Overnight miracle claims: 'one use and my pores vanished' style videos

To be fair, every trend has its fans, and some started as a genuinely good idea before the internet stretched them.

And the opposite question: which recent trend do you hope stays?
