Korean-style makeup at a Latin wedding or party: is it too subtle?

The best-known Korean style goes for luminous skin, soft blush, blurred tinted lips​and straight, natural brows. Lovely for everyday… but in Latin communities one question keeps coming up:will it last a wedding, a quinceañera or a party until 5 am?

Arguments for:

• The fresh finish photographs well in natural light.

• Lip tints last and don't look heavy.

• It looks modern if you don't want a very defined look.

Arguments against:

• With heat, dancing and flash, "glass skin" can turn into shine.

• For some tastes it's too subtle in night-time photos.

• A light base doesn't always cover what you want covered.

Middle-ground fixes you see a lot: keep the glow only on the cheekbones and mattify the T-zone, add stronger liner, or build up lip colour in layers.
