Korea e-Arrival Card: when to fill it in so it doesn't expire
If you are entering Korea without a K-ETA, you will likely deal with the e-Arrival Card, the online version of the arrival form. The official portal is clear on a few points that trip people up.
The basics

It is free. Any site asking for money is not the official one.

You can submit it from 3 days before arrival (Korea time).

A submitted card loses validity 72 hours after submission, so filling it in a week early does not work.

Once you have submitted the e-version, you don't need a paper card. It has the same effect.

False information can lead to penalties or entry restrictions, so double-check your hotel address and flight number.
