Three minutes is enough. In the morning, what matters is moisturizing without feeling tight and applying sunscreen without missing any spots, rather than the number of steps.

      1. Rinse with water or use a gentle cleanser — if your skin hasn’t gotten very oily overnight, it’s fine to wash with water alone. 2) Light moisturizer — apply a thin layer only if your skin feels dry. 3) Sunscreen — apply a generous amount of the product to your face and neck, and reapply if you’ll be outdoors for a long time. Some products combine moisturizing and sun protection, but if it’s difficult to apply enough sunscreen, it’s better to use them separately.

Multiple layers of toner or serum aren’t essential steps. However, if your makeup pills, try adjusting by applying less moisturizer or giving it a little more time to absorb. For this poll, ‘about 3 minutes’ seems like a realistic balance. Which step do you skip first in the morning?
