Olive Young opens a three-floor store in Myeongdong: Central Myeongdong Town
Another Olive Young in Myeongdong doesn't sound like news, but this one is on a different scale. Olive Young Central Myeongdong Town opened on 26 March 2026 with three floors and roughly 3,100 m², making it the chain's second-largest store after N Seongsu.
What the press reported:
- 1,000+ brands and about 15,000 products
- 22 checkout counters, described as the biggest setup for any of its offline stores, to cut queues
- Staff wear language badges (English, Chinese, Japanese), so you can spot who to ask
- A sheet-mask library of around 800 products, plus a K-food zone on the third floor
The reason for all this: about 95% of Olive Young's Myeongdong sales come from foreign visitors, so the store was planned around tourists from the start.
If you've been confused by the many Olive Young branches in Myeongdong, this is the one to pick when you want everything under one roof. Weekend afternoons are reportedly busy, so mornings are a safer bet.
