Gradient lip or full lip: which Korean lip look is yours?

The gradient lip, color concentrated in the center and softly blurred toward the edges, became one of the most recognizable Korean makeup looks. Lately many tutorials also show fuller, more defined lips with a blurred or slightly overlined edge.

Gradient lip, in short:

• Tint pressed onto the inner lip, blended outward with a finger.

• Looks soft and youthful, forgiving on uneven lip lines.

• Can fade unevenly as the day goes on.

Full or blurred-edge lip:

• Color across the whole lip, edge softened with a finger or brush.

• Looks more polished and "finished".

• Needs more precision and touch-ups after eating.

Many people switch depending on the day: gradient for casual, full for evenings or photos.
