STEARYLDISULFIDEHEXYL SH-DNA-2 PEG-45/SH-RNA-1

Stearyldisulfidehexyl sh-DNA-2 PEG-45/sh-RNA-1 is a synthetic human RNA strand conjugated with a synthetic human complementary DNA strand modified at the 5' end with Stearyldisulfidehexyl and at the 3' end with polyethylene glycol. The RNA is an androgen-receptor-specific siRNA comprised of 19 ribonucleotides. The modified DNA is a complementary strand comprised of 19 deoxyribonucleotides selected from the isoform-common region of human androgen receptor mRNAs isoform 1. This was developed for effective and specific degradation of mRNA coding androgen receptor.
