sh-Oligopeptide-2 SP Trifluoroacetate is the trifluoroacetate salt of a single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Erythropoietin and contains 19 amino acids consisting of alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glycine, histidine, leucine, lysine, serine, threonine and valine. The parent peptide contains a maximum of 193 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. The protein consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
