sh-Oligopeptide-199 SP is a single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Nuclear Autoantigen Sp-100, and contains 11 amino acids consisting of asparagine, glutamic acid, histidine, leucine, lysine, serine, threonine and valine. The parent protein contains a maximum of 879 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. It consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
