sh-Hexapeptide-16 SP is the single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Cytosolic Carboxypeptidase 2 and consists of arginine, lysine, phenylalanine and proline. Cytosolic carboxypeptidase 2 contains a maximum of 902 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. The protein consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
