sh-Hexapeptide-14 SP is the single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Proenkephalin-B and contains 6 amino acids consisting of arginine, isoleucine, lysine and proline. Proenkephalin-B contains a maximum of 254 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. The protein consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
