sh-Heptapeptide-14 is a single chain human peptide, produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Chain B Amine Oxidase (Flavin-Containing), and contains 7 amino acids consisting of alanine, glutamic acid, histidine, threonine and valine. Chain B Amine Oxidase (Flavin-Containing) contains a maximum of 520 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids (sh-Heptapeptide-14 is included in the INCI database as a reference for the definition of other INCI Names, and might not be a marketed cosmetic ingredient).
