The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the genes encoding for s-HIV-1 Oligopeptide-5 SP, rh-Oligopeptide-98, Oligopeptide-207, rh-Oligopeptide-109, rh-Oligopeptide-110, and rh-Oligopeptide-101. The fusion peptide contains 263 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation an d consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
