r-Mussel Polypeptide-1 r-Mussel Oligopeptide-1 sh-Polypeptide-47 is a single chain recombinant fusion peptide, produced by fermentation in E. coli. The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the gene from r-Mussel Polypeptide-1 (q.v.), r-Mussel Oligopeptide-1 (q.v.) and sh-Polypeptide-47 (q.v.). The fused peptide contains 218 amino acids and consists of the proper sequence of the standard amino acids.
