The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the genes from Hexapeptide-40, sh-Polypeptide-119, and Oligopeptide-164 with the initiation codon for methionine. The fusion peptide may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation, and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids
