Polyurethane-81 is a urethane polymer formed by a multi-step reaction. First, a hydroxyl-terminated polyester made by condensing hexamethylene carbonate with Epsilon-Caprolactone. The polyester is then reacted with Isophorone Diisocyanate and Neopentyl Glycol, then capped with 2-ethylhexanol.
