Nicotiana Benthamiana sh-Polypeptide-194 is a single chain recombinant human peptide, produced by transient expression in Nicotiana benthamiana and contains 9 amino acids consisting of arginine, cysteine, lysine and tryptophan. The starting gene which is a synthesized copy of the human gene that codes for Astrotactin-1 is used as such or adapted to the production host. The parent protein contains a maximum of 1302 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation.
