METHACRYLOYL PULLULAN CROSSPOLYMER
Definition
Methacryloyl Pullulan Crosspolymer is a crosslinked polymer that is made in several steps. Pullulan is derivatized by reacting it with Methacrylic Anhydride which adds methacryloyl groups along the polysaccharide chain. Benzophenone-8 is derivatized by reacting it with Methacryloyl Chloride to produce a crosslinker. The methacryloyl pullulan is then crosslinked with the Benozophenone-8 derivative.
