Points to consider
특정 알레르기 반응에 주의가 필요합니다. Lactobionic Acid is well-tolerated and safe for all skin types, particularly sensitive or reactive skin. Its mild exfoliating nature and skin barrier support minimize irritation risk. It can be used long-term in skincare with low chances of adverse effects.
Usage reference
Lactobionic Acid is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) with a larger molecular size than alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), leading to mild and surface-level exfoliation. It works by breaking down the connections between dead skin cells (desmosomes), allowing their gentle removal without damaging the skin barrier. Unlike stronger acids, lactobionic acid exfoliates without causing redness, dryness, or irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Additionally, it is hygroscopic, attracting and retaining moisture to improve skin hydration and elasticity. Lactobionic Acid also exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, protecting against free radical damage and soothing irritated skin. It supports the skin barrier function, enhancing resilience and reducing moisture loss. Compared to AHAs and BHAs, PHAs like lactobionic acid provide exfoliation combined with moisturization and antioxidant benefits
