Hexapeptide-53 is the peptide consisting of alanine, glycine, leucine, proline and tyrosine synthesized to be identical to a portion of the peptide from Melittin found in bees and wasps.
이 원료는 알지닌, 글루타민 및 라이신으로 이루어진 합성 펩타이드로 꿀벌과 말벌에서 발견한 단백질의 일종인 멜리틴의 일부와 동일하게 합성한 것이다. 멜리틴은 70개의 표준 아미노산으로 구성되어 있다.
