Escherichia Coli Extract/sr-(Methionyl Tripeptide-46 Hexapeptide-40 Decapeptide-27 Methionyl s-Pig Polypeptide-2 Oligopeptide-234 sh-Oligopeptide-78) is a single chain recombinant peptide produced by fermentation in E. coli, where the final product contains proteins from the E. coli host. The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the gene from Tripeptide-46, Hexapeptide-40, Decapeptide-27, s-Pig Polypeptide-2, Oligopeptide-234 and sh-Oligopeptide-78 with the initiation code for methionine. The fusion peptide contains 231 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
