Acetyl s-Helianthus Annuus Hexapeptide-1 Amide is the product obtained by the acetylation of a single chain Helianthus annuus peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Oleosin, which is found in the sunflower, Helianthus annuus. The peptide consists of isoleucine, proline, serine and valine, in which the C-terminus is an amide. The protein consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
