Definición
Acetyl s-Carrot Tetrapeptide-1 Amide is the product obtained by the acetylation of a single chain carrot peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Phytosulfokine, which is found in Daucus carota. The peptide contains 4 amino acids consisting of isoleucine, threonine and tyrosine, in which the C-terminus is an amide, and the tyrosine residue may or may not be sulfated. The protein consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
